Bajo la dirección del Director de Obras Públicas, el Personal de Entrada para la Estación de Transferencia/Residuos Voluminosos es responsable de verificar la residencia; cobrar y aceptar las tarifas por la eliminación de artículos y emitir los recibos correspondientes; informar al público sobre las normas y procedimientos de la Estación de Transferencia/Residuos Voluminosos; ayudar al público con la eliminación de artículos; dirigir el tráfico; controlar los niveles de residuos y materiales reciclables; y mantener la limpieza de las instalaciones.

TRANSFER / BULKY WASTE STATION GATE ATTENDANT – WINDHAM PUBLIC WORKS – Windham, CT
The Town of Windham seeks qualified applicants for the position of Transfer/Bulky Waste Station Gate Attendant. This is a full-time position (40 hrs/wk; Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; $23.50/hr without a CDL or $26.00/hr with a CDL).
Under the direction of the Director of Public Works, the Transfer/Bulky Waste Station Gate Attendant is responsible for validating residency; charging and accepting fees for disposal of items, and issuing receipts for the same; educating the public as to Transfer/Bulky Waste Station rules and procedures; assisting the public with the disposal of items; directing traffic; monitoring levels of waste/recyclables; and maintain cleanliness of the facility.
